Text Box: Current Career Opportunities   Associate Ramp Technician Ramp Engineering is a fast-paced and dynamic company operating within a niche market of the aviation industry.  We seek energetic and self-motivated individuals with a willingness to learn the inner workings of an airport in a team environment.  The Associate Ramp Technician is responsible for assisting with the removal and installation of safety markings on the ramp areas as well as daily maintenance and operation of machinery. Work is project based at airports nationwide and demands approximately 80% travel. Homeland Security will require a 10 yr. background check with FBI fingerprinting in order to obtain proper badges and security clearance at the various airports. There can be no felonies on your record.  Hourly position - wages will be commensurate with experience. Opportunity for advancement.   Job Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): -Assist with procuring materials and supplies from vendors (i.e. 5 gal. buckets of paint) -Assist with daily set up and breakdown of equipment (i.e. filling 500 gal. water tank for use with removal machinery, hooking up hoses, mixing paint and carrying 5 gal. buckets of paint to staging area, fueling machinery, etc.) -Assist with maintenance and repair of machinery -Maintain and clean plastic stencils -Assist survey crew with the layout process by identifying specific points and snapping chalk lines -Assist with moving truck and hoses during removal process -Communicate job status and other matters to field crew and/or company management   Required Qualifications -Minimum Education – High School Diploma or GED -Experience in working with machinery, or ability and interest to learn -Ability to drive (and back up) a one ton dual wheel pick up truck, pulling a trailer -Must be able to demonstrate: a positive attitude, professionalism, effective communication, and the ability to work in a team environment
